One day I swear that I'll update this blog at least once a week! I believe the last post was a little too long ago I think!
Anyway there's a reasonable excuse for the lack of updating & its all due to things busy-ing up at Lilly Wiggler HQ (yay!) orders are filling the studio and there's lovely lingerie & super funk corsets making their way all over the world! I just wish I could hand deliver them to sneak in a wee summer holiday!
So we're making orders, working up new collections and planning many other exciting projects hopefully all forming in the coming months!
I'll be hitting MODA on the 14th in the name of research so who's knows maybe Lilly Wiggler will have a wee stand there someday in the future!
Well there's lots going on here so I should get back to organising tomorrow's work plan, but on a final note...SWOON! Oh they are beautiful...so very beautiful!

Bras, bodysuits & Heeless Shoes
Ok so I'm not doing so well at the "I will post once a week" mission but hopefully I can get back on track! What's been happening then?
Well I've been preparing for the "Inspire the Attire" Fashion on the 3rd June in the Garage nightclub, Glasgow. It's another chance to see the A/W2011 collection in all its glory (now if that's not worth £7 a ticket then I don't know what is!) & there's a whole host of other marvellous designers so if you're in Glasgow it's certainly worth a visit!
Secondly I've been a busy girl making lots of samples for (hopefully) launching PR campaign, so hopefully you'll be seeing a whole lot more Lilly Wiggler soon!
And finally I've been supplying the world with lovely lingerie! The Folksy shop was finally completed last weekend so please give it a wee look-see (and of course feel free to buy!)
In between all that I've been staring endlessly at Natacha Marro's heeless Mary-Jane's (one can dream after all!) and admiring the absolutely beautiful "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" book, if ever you're looking for fashion inspiration you will most certainly find it in Alexander McQueen. So inspiring in fact that my AW2011 collection is my own sort of tribute to his memory (although I'd say that everything I make is inspired by him) hence the reason you will find said collection in the previously mentioned "Inspire the Attire" show!
Ok now I'll get back to working on some pieces for SS2012 (its tough stuff this planning seasons ahead!)

Stress, Fashion & Lingerie
It's been a stressful fortnight at Lilly Wiggler I must say. Progress was struck by illness and the stress of big design ideas not going as planned (I hate it when that happens).
Sadly illness denied Lilly Wiggler the chance to show at the Nightwalk SS2011 fashion show in Glasgow on the 22nd (a huge disappointment at from what I've seen so far the night looked to be amazning). But I did manage to pull my sickly self together to make it to the "Fresh & Faded" Fashion show in Glasgow's Oran Mor last night (25th). A Great night & a lovely venue & well was pleased to see everything was looking good on the runway. I would post my photos but my fashion show photography skills are questionable at best so let's hope there are some good photos out there!
So to distract from lifes trials I am going full steam ahead at Lilly Wiggler. There's another show planned in June (details to follow soon enough) & ambitions to host my own show sometime next year. But first there is the Coco Violet launch night on the 7th May!
The lovely Aberdeen boutique will be home to a selection of Lilly Wiggler Lingerie ranges such as Ellie, Blossom & the much loved Summer Girl (plus a Coco Violet Exclusive- Naturally named as Coco!)
So yes I am excited about that as it involves a trip to Aberdeen (I've never been so I am keen to see it)!
Also on the to-do list is getting AW2011 Collection photographed & ready to add to Lilly Wigger.com in June/July for your shopping pleasure!
Which also means that the designing is also beginning for SS2012 (yay!) I have bigh plans for the next collection as I hope to add a new luxury range, so look out for lots of lovely silks & lace fabrics!
What else? hmm I cant remember what I wrote in my last post so its possible that I've been repeating myself in this one; but anyway I shall leave it at that until I have something interesting to share!

LillyWiggler.com Re-Launch Tomorrow!!
Amid all the frantic sewing over the last few weeks, between supply lovely undies to those who desire them, making goodies for new stockists & 2 fashion shows (Details to follow) I also ambitiously decided I would re-vamp LillyWiggler.com as it was looking a bit "mehh" (translating to "ok but not great").
Gone is the black background & contrasting bright purple logo, instead we're going girly/minimal/swirly/posh with a fancy new logo on a crisp white background (oooohhh). But wait! There's more! actually technically there's a wee bit less, we've cut down our content to make for an easier to navigate & understand website.
So what's new? Well here's a breakdown:

Gone is the black background & contrasting bright purple logo, instead we're going girly/minimal/swirly/posh with a fancy new logo on a crisp white background (oooohhh). But wait! There's more! actually technically there's a wee bit less, we've cut down our content to make for an easier to navigate & understand website.
So what's new? Well here's a breakdown:
- We've moved all our standard ranges over to a shiny new E-Shop powered by Folksy, ranges are still being added but you can still order from it & once it's complete you'll find all our standard sizes & colour options for our lingerie.
- We've kept our corset shop on the main site, and all corsets are now made-to-measure to ensure the best fit possible!
- We have a custom shop for bespoke ordering! You can still discuss bespoke ideas via email but the new shop allows you to pay a deposit to begin the process of making the lingerie of your dreams!
- New stockists!! (Yay!!) You can now find Lilly Wiggler in 3 new locations. The 1st is from our Glasgow stockist Beautifully Boudoir's new-look website. The other 2 are from 2 brand new stockists, Esty Lingerie (online Lingerie retailer) & Coco Violet in Aberdeen (available from May)!

Getting Started - Becoming a Blogger
Well I've tried keeping a blog before for Lilly Wiggler & well, it wasn't exactly a huge success (in my defense it never looked all that spectacular on my site so it just put me off). But here we are "The Lilly Wiggler Blog-Version 2.0" is now commencing!
Why now? well LillyWiggler.com is getting a mini-make over so now seemed as good a time as any to finally get this blogging scene cracked once & for all. My plan is to keep all you lovely lovely fashion & lingerie lovers out there updated with the goings on at Lilly Wiggler HQ; so it'll be all about what's happening where we've been & where we're going and the like!
Naturally as fashion (& particularly shoe) obsessed girl, you'll most likely see some random posts on here of things I've discovered (& would kill to own), so you'll get to learn a little bit about the girl behind the label as well (you lucky things you!)
Right as it turns out, I'm supposed to be sewing a corset right now so we'll leave the 1st post at that, until next time (hopefully sooner rather than later)!
